You Diet But Remain Fat: 10 Guidelines To Keep It Simple

By Angela Schvaneveldt What is going on with our health in America today? Why are 68% of us fat? The diet industry is making billions off of us each year, and we are getting nowhere! We have seen it all: Low Fat, Low Carb, Atkins, South Beach, Hollywood Diet, Blah, blah, blah. Not to mention the thousands of pills on the market. I received an advertisement just yesterday that proclaimed no diet change or exercise needed, just take this magic pill for weight loss. What the…..do people actually fall for this? Obviously they do. I used to be one of them. First of all, America is the fattest country because of what we eat. Dieting is a temporary solution. Unless you are willing to change your diet completely for good, you are setting yourself up for failure. Unfortunately, there is no “magic pill”, like these money-hungry companies want you to believe. Sure, they may speed up the weight loss process, but at what cost to your health? Do you even know what you are putting into your body? Do you care? I will tell you right now 99% of diet pills are harmful to your health. I don’t know why, but we are so easily sold on a fancy advertisement promising us the world, when in reality, we get ripped off , and possibly even killing ourselves. Well I got fed up. I decided to devote years into getting to the bottom of weight loss and dieting. My findings may not be what you want to hear, but I’m not going to sugar coat it or lie to make money. I used to be fat, depressed, sick, and unmotivated. My father died from cancer, and that was the last straw for me. I decided this one chance at life we are given is too short to be miserable. These 10 guidelines will help keep it simple: 1. EVERYTHING IN MODERATION. Remember, restaurant meals are 3-4 times the portion amount you should be eating. 2. BEST CHOICES are fruits, vegetables and lean meat . 3. BAD CHOICES for sure is if it comes in a package. Anything processed, i.e. cookies, crackers, chips, ice cream, etc. Not good. All of this crap is loaded with sugars, preservatives, and empty calories. 4. FAST FOOD. We are in a world of convenience, and drive-thrus are on every corner. Avoid when you can. You are teaching your children nothing but bad habits when you give them a happy meal for lunch. 5. SOFT DRINKS. There is nothing positive at all in these. Empty calories, one of our worst enemies. 6. HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. Yikes! This stuff should never be consumed. When you see it, run! 7. SUGAR. A person should be consuming NO MORE THAN a half a cup per day. In reality, the average american has 2-4 cups per day. (If you were properly educated on what this does to your body, you would be shocked! 8. SAUCES. Be careful…know the ingredients. Heavy creams, cheese, butter and oils should be used sparingly. 9. WATER. Love it.Your body is crying out for 8 or more glasses a day. 10. EXERCISE. The no. 1 cause of depression is lack of physical activity. There are a lot of ways to get in daily physical activity. I am not going to tell you to get a gym membership and work out 3 hours a day. Find whatever exercise regime you enjoy, and get moving! You most likely will not feel like exercising, however, you will benefit from it in more ways than you realize, so MAKE IT HAPPEN! Thats it. Those are the basic guidelines. If you are extremely heavy and would benefit from a diet program to get you started, just make sure you do your homework and choose a healthy one. But remember, if you are not willing to make a lifetime commitment to a healthier lifestyle, the second your diet is over and you pick up your old habits, you will pick up all those pounds (and most likely more) you work so hard getting rid of. I highly suggest getting your life going today, right now! Don’t wait another second. Be the person that you want to be, do the things you want to do. Remember, misery is an option. Don’t just lay around and let your precious life flutter away before your eyes. Angela S. www.womenshealthlife.com Author- Angela S. Can I Buy SIM Cards Overseas When I Get There?

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=John_Dulaney]John Dulaney 3 color copies of your passport photo, 2-3 copies of your passport page, your home address and tel. numbers, you family’s first and last names and your place of work. In addition come of them require information you likely don’t even have on hand. Also, you’ll have to take a taxi ride to a specialized shop and then a taxi back to your hotel. Often it can take 1-2-3-4 hours to complete the purchase depending on how busy the shop it, how expert the salesman is and how their computers are feeling that day. Often once you arrive you have left out some form or piece of information and you’ll have to run around and get it and come back. On the whole buying your SIM CARD in the USA from a reliable company such as www.planetomni.com means getting your card in the states without any hassle of registration at all. They can even give you your overseas phone number when you place the order. They also ship worldwide in case you need it and/or an unlocked cell phone shipped to where you are. To most popular destinations that means 1-2 day service. If you’re a frequent overseas business traveler, you’ve likely encountered the frustrations of using a cell phone abroad. Here is some advice… Buy Local (Foreign) SIMs in the US or Use an International SIM The way to save on international cell phone us is to buy a pre-paid SIM card from a phone company in the country you will be visiting. These SIMs can be purchased in the US and local SIMs can sometimes be purchased overseas. Be aware though, that if you buy SIMs overseas there might be residency requirements, you will not get your phone number until you arrive and the instructions will be in the local language. It may actually cost less to buy a sim card in the USA because of needing to go to a special shop but considering you get the number in advance (usually) and the instructions in English, it’s worth it. Before departure, he said, find out whether your phone will work at your destination, and if so, whether you can activate the international roaming access function that would allow you to receive and make calls. However this mean very costly roaming fees and your incoming calls can be costly and always your outgoing calls are expensive. If the phone is not compatible with local technology, you’ll have to consider renting, buying or borrowing a local cell phone or getting one in advance from a company like http://www.planetomni.com in California. They have Factory Unlocked GSM cell phones both to buy International Cell Phones and to rent Cell Phone Rental They ship worldwide and have cellular service for more than 170 countries (there are only 193 countries on earth!). If your phone is compatible, you’ll need to decide whether you want to get your phone unlocked so that it can accept a local SIM card — the ID chip that carries your local phone number. For it to be compatible it must be GSM standard and be of the correct NETWORK BAND for the country you are going to. There are 4 bands, 850/900/1800/1900Mhz. The advantage behind the LOCAL PHONE NUMBER option? With a local phone number you can receive local calls and avoid the $1-$2 per minute international roaming charges you’d otherwise incur with a U.S.-based SIM card. Unlike U.S.-based service, where you pay for both making and receiving calls, in Europe (and most foreign countries) only the calling party pays, However, once you leave the country of the local SIM card, the calls you receive from there will rack up international roaming charges. There are 2 ways to skirt that problem: #1 is to buy country specific SIM cards for every country you visit, provided that your phone is compatible. Once again http://www.planetomni.com/Prod_SIM.shtml If you try to buy them overseas it can be either impossible or very frustrating and expensive or impossible. The hassle with that option: You have to inform your contacts of your new cell phone number each time since you won’t have your foreign cell phone numbers until you buy them. Getting them from www.planetomni.com first means you can have your numbers even at the time you place the order. Just call them direct for more info. 800-815-9380 or from outside the USA 925-686-9945 or email: jd@quantumstar.com. #2 is to buy a single sim card good for more than one country. That way you give out a single cell phone number but good for between 110 and 160 countries depending on which international sim card you buy. You can see them here: http://www.planetomni.com/Prod_SIM.shtml At least with one of those two your incoming calls while in western Europe will still be free to you, night and day, from every country and phone on earth. Calling the states from all western European countries is a flat rate of US$0.97 per minute, always. Compare that to using the, for example, German country specific sim card at $2.50 per minute and you’ll see that sometimes its cheaper to get one of the international sim cards. Because companies generally foot the bill for business travelers, they may choose to forego the local SIM card option in favor of renting phones or using their own phones and swallowing the international roaming charges. Americans are at a disadvantage when it comes to cell phones overseas, because most of the world uses a GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) standard. While T-Mobile and Cingular use that standard, Verizon and Sprint operate on the CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) standard, which is popular in North America but not supported everywhere else. But most carriers lock their GSM phones to their service so they can’t be used with other providers and you must also be aware that most American GSM phones don’t have the needed foreign networks in them so they won’t work overseas anyway. If you go to the U.K. or Germany or most everywhere in the world, your Sprint or Verizon will not work at all. Consider the battle between GSM and CDMA. The GSM standard outsells the other flavor, the flavor used by Verizon and Sprint, by 4 to 1. The Japanese anomaly Travelers heading to Japan face a whole different ballgame. When you go there, your GSM phone won’t work. You have to have a 3G (third generation) phone, which you can get in from http://www.planetomni.com/3G_CELLS_planetomni.shtml. 3G refers to the technology that gives cell phone users the “broadband experience” of a laptop with its high speed and data capacity. While such phones are just starting to come out in the United States, they don’t operate on the same frequencies as they do in Japan or Europe. A 3G phone purchased in the United States and taken to Europe would roll onto the networks there fine — but would operate as a 2G or “second generation” phone there, with limited data capacity. Travelers from Japan or Europe to the United States will find that their 3G phones will roam on Cingular or T-Mobile 2G networks but without the 3G roaming experience they are used to. Here are some fantastic looking new 3G cell phones: http://www.planetomni.com/3G_CELLS_planetomni.shtml Roaming worldwide Either of the international sim cards linked about work in most of the world’s countries. How Pre-Paid SIMs Work This is the easiest part. Pre-paid SIMs start with a monetary balance on the account. As you make calls, the charges are deducted from the credit available based on the per-minute rates. Rates will vary depending on the carrier’s policies, whether local, to a local cell phone, or international. The rates are included with the SIM card packaging. In almost all European and Western countries, incoming calls are free. When your call credit gets low, you drop by any convenience store or newspaper stand and buy a little scratch off voucher from the same company as the SIM in your phone. Enter the secret code from the voucher into the phone’s automated top-up system, and the voucher’s credit is added to your account. It’s a free call to check your balance and to add more credit. It’s like getting gas in your car and something millions of people around then world do everyday. If you don’t want to stop frequently, buy a large denomination card, such as a 50-Euro. Multi-Country Trips For trips to more than one country, it is easier to use an international pre-paid SIM card that works in many countries. Planet Omni has an International sim card that gives you free incoming calls all over Europe and it is less than $1.00 a minute for outgoing calls to Europe or the US (when used in Europe). It works in a total of 110+ countries. The pre-paid international SIM a great product for travel to more than one country. It keeps you from having to buy multiple SIMs and changing phone numbers and rates in each country. It provides seamless roaming from door to door. Cell phone use overseas. In 99% of the world the local cellular service standard is called GSM. We use this in the states as well. When combined with a SIM CARD (which usually goes under the battery of the phone) the phone is able to communicate and the SIM CARD also holds the telephone number and memory for pre-paid credit. Rates can be extremely low using this system. For example in 99% of all SIM CARDS incoming calls are free and calls to the states can cost a trifle. Such as, from the UK to the USA 7 cents/minute, from Israel 22 cents, from Australia 27 cents. Yes, USA Dollar cents! There are today even prepaid service providers in the USA offering rates of 10 cents per minute to call anywhere in the US to any type of phone. No contracts, no credit card checks, no bills. Pre-paid always means no minimums no contracts, no obligations. You only pay for the calls made. You’ll need an unlocked GSM tri-band or quadband UNLOCKED phone. You can buy factory unlocked phones and sim cards for more than 170 or the 193 countries on earth from http://www.planetomni.com Tel. # 800-514-2984 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=John_Dulaney http://EzineArticles.com/?Can-I-Buy-SIM-Cards-Overseas-When-I-Get-There?&id=286367 high risk personal loan banks personal loans for debt consolidation pay day card private money lenders in tn

How to Be Guaranteed Acceptance by Your Preferred College!

By K. Kemper In 1964, I was “graduated”, if you can call it that, second from bottom in my high school’s class of 46 students. It is not that English, history, math or science were my enemies, but my family problems pretty much precluded my studying with any emphasis. I was not lazy nor industrious, but staying away from bullies, a smart alecky sister and dealing with “hormones” effectively turned me into an intellectual nincompoop. In time, my acne and hormones pressure subsided, and, with my military service completed, I re-focused my brain. Now, without those earlier “barriers”, I learned the wonders of science, business math, history and even gained sufficient English skills to become a college instructor. Undoubtedly, in addition to my fanatical love of business, I learned about college admissions and the “fraud” and misguided emphasis forced on American families nationwide. This fraud I speak of relates to the emphasis of being accepted into the college/university of one’s choice AS A FROSH. In order to accomplish this act, test companies across the US gain freshmen and women as clients, “guaranteeing a high score on the SAT test” if one follows the test designer’s rules and methods. What these test givers DON’T state is that their tests are almost irrelevant when it comes time to being accepted by your preferred college. LET me qualify that before 100 million moms, dads, test-givers and universities Come after me with a pitch fork! While colleges and universities DO have GOBS of applicants for every PLACE in their next Frosh class, they do not have same for their JUNIOR class places. NOW how/why did I make the leap from Frosh to Junior? EVERY college/university in the U.S. requires the same entrance criteria and thus, basics of its FROSH, and SOPHOMORES, but not of its JUNIORS and SENIORS. Why is that? It is because College is divided into 2 sections, lower-division under-graduate and upper-division under-graduate [and then, at the applicable time, if one is desirous and lucky, one can apply for graduate school--often at the same university]. All college students entering as a FROSH take placement tests for English, math and science skill levels. Said student Is then placed into either Bonehead English [101 or lower number] or advanced and that can include one of dozens of classes-the Classics, Poetry, etc. These same FROSH take elementary algebra, elementary science, etc., all based on the results of tests taken in-between ADMISSION and the first day of class. RARELY do Students question this system [not EVEN gifted students]. Adjunct [college] business professor, AND when called, high school business teacher and sub teacher. Ohio Divorce Lawyers

By Alison Cole Divorce can be a very traumatic experience in a person’s life. Divorce refers to the legal separation and termination of a marriage. Divorce laws vary from state to state. To file a divorce lawsuit, a complaint should be registered. The spouse who registers the complaint is called the plaintiff and the other spouse is the defendant. To file a divorce case in Ohio, individuals should contact proficient lawyers who have adequate experience and specialization in Ohio Family laws. In Ohio, divorce can be granted on grounds of ‘no-fault’ and ‘fault.’ ‘Incompatibility’ and ‘living separately for a year’ fall under no-fault grounds. Fault grounds include reasons such as bigamy, adultery, cruelty, fraudulent contract of marriage, gross negligence of duty, alcohol addiction, imprisonment and out-of-state divorce. The repercussions of the divorce affects all the members of the family and the experience can be quite overwhelming. The children of the couple, if any, tend to feel tremendous pressure during this period. Divorce lawyers are aware of the stress their clients go through during the court proceedings. Divorce lawyers well versed in family laws take care of all the other issues linked with the case, such as alimony, child support, child visitation and child custody agreements. Individuals have to sign a retainer agreement with their divorce lawyers. This agreement includes, all the details of the fees charged by the lawyer for his services. It is important to understand all the terms and conditions mentioned in the agreement. Ohio divorce lawyers generally charge on hourly basis. Some lawyers offer ?unbundled? legal services. They charge only for the legal advice they provide to their clients. Many Ohio divorce lawyers offer free consultations online. Individuals can look for a lawyer on the Internet or seek references from friends and family. Individuals can also contact the local bar association for assistance. Individuals should try and fix an appointment with a few lawyers and then decide on the lawyer who can best handle their case. It is advisable to know the exact fees of a lawyer before hiring him/her. Ohio Lawyers provides detailed information on Ohio Lawyers, Ohio Accident Lawyers, Ohio Real Estate Lawyers, Ohio Bankruptcy Lawyers and more. Ohio Lawyers is affiliated with Pennsylvania DUI Law. Music for Love

By Ron Zvagelsky There are many different genres of music and since people have various tastes, personal choice in what constitutes romantic music may vary. However there are definitely some favorites that everyone can agree upon. Here are some choices to consider when choosing romantic music. From Him to Her 1. You Are So Beautiful: Joe Cocker This song continues to be a favorite among those in love. The lyrics are beautiful and it truly describes the adoration he has for the love of his life. Joes heartfelt cry makes this one of the best love songs of all time. 2. When a Man Loves a Woman: Percy Sledge The soulful serenade from Percy Sledge describes how every man in love views the object of his affection: in perfection. What woman wouldnt want this song dedicated to her? 3. Have I told you Lately: Rod Stewart Rod Stewarts smooth tones are perfect for telling her that you love her. There isnt a woman alive who wouldnt melt as you gaze into her eyes and tell her how you feel, while Rod is singing this ballad in the background. 4. Cant Get Enough Of Your Love: Barry White There is nothing more romantic than the soothing bass of Barry White. He was often referred to as having a Velvet Voice, and when creating a romantic environment, Barry White delivers every time. 5. Always and Forever: Luther Vandross, Heatwave Whether you listen to the classic by Heatwave or one of the newer remakes, Always and Forever continues to lead the way in top romantic songs. It is also perfect for weddings, or anytime you want to let your woman know that your love is eternal. From Her to Him 1. Because you Loved Me: Celine Dion Celine seems to be the epitome of romance. When it comes to singing the words that express how you feel towards your man, there is clearly no better choice than Because you Loved Me. 2. Endless Love: Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross; Lionel Ritchie, Diana Ross Both of these versions are incredibly awesome. The lyrics are perfect for declaring your unfailing committed love to your partner. 3. Here We Are: Gloria Estefan This must be one of the best songs for women to play when they want their man to know that they want some intimacy. 4. You Light Up My Life: Debby Boone You Light Up My Life is one of those songs that just says it all. When you want to tell your man how you feel play this song in the background. 5. When I Fall in Love: Celine Dion and Clive Griffin What better song to express your truest sense of love, honor, and lifelong commitment then When I Fall in Love. The Rules for Getting Money Grants

By Jerome Ford Do you have a dream or an idea that needs funding? Are you passionate about starting a business, but you don’t have the money to get your project out of the planning statges? Thousands of people receive millions of dollars to fund all sorts of things that you, or I, may consider off the wall. The difference between the ones who get grant money and those who don’t, is that, the ones who get money grant follow some simple rules. 1. Take Action: A great person once said “you can’t spend a should, you can only spend a did”. I’ve often met people who want grants to magically appear in their email inbox. Money Grant Funding doesn’t work that way. No one is going to know about your awsome idea or passion and decide that it’s worthy of funding unless you ’sell them’ on the idea. Learning the steps, investing your time and resources are the most effetive ways to take action. 2. Find a Mentor: The best mentors are people who’ve been where you are now. They can help you discover the secrets and shortcuts that will save you time, money and frustration. 3. Be Persistent: You may be denied grant funding for a number of reasons. In some cases the budget may have been allocated to other candidates. In other cases you may not qualify for the sources of funding offered. The key is to make sure that you keep learning, searching and applying. Jerome C. Family Fun on the Rails

By Susan Robinson Imagine your are five years old. As your family arrives at the train station, your hand slips free of your Moms and you dash over to the tracks. Looking left, then right, your eager eyes scan the horizon, searching for your train. Then you hear it. The quiet chugging of the locomotive. The clicking and clacking of the wheels gliding over the rails. The sound of happy families enjoying their ride as they arrive at the station The engine pulls to a stop; the steam escaping. You run to the first car, eager to board and ride behind the engineer. But this is no ordinary train. This engine is just your size! The cars have seats built just for you! Even still, these cars are large enough for your Mom and Dad to come along for the ride. With the toot of the horn, the engineer gently pulls the throttle and the little engine slowly starts inching forward. The cylinders pump and the steam chuffs and before long, the engine is chugging along. As you round the first curve, you look back and see the trusty red caboose tootling along, bringing up the rear. Bright, cheery smiles are every where! Children cry out with glee as the train winds through the tunnel and into the day light. Parents look on with joy and contentment as they reflect on their own precious memories and those that are being made now. You and your parents never want this moment to end. WHOLESOME & EDUCATIONAL FAMILY FUN Railroading is in the blood of thousands of Americans. And, even through steam engines may have disappeared from full size rails across the nation, they are still running strong in miniature railroads. What is it about trains that appeals to children and adults alike? Is it the freedom of travel? The sound of the whistle? The simplicity of design? The life-like sounds of a chuffing steam engine? Or the smile on the face of a tired, yet friendly engineer? There is no one answer but one thing is for certain: children of all ages, love trains! Look at the phenomenal success of Thomas the Tank engine properties! But it doesnt stop with wood Thomas engines or electric HO train sets. No, this affection seems to grow into something much bigger. . . trains that are large enough to ride in, whether you are 3 or 93. There is no mistaking the attraction of trains to folks of all ages. And even if you have never ridden aboard an Amtrak train, you may have fond memories of miniature, or Grand Scale, trains found at your local park or drive-in theater when you were young. Maybe you were one of the children who have fond memories of riding behind the diesel at Kiddieland in Chicago or in one of the department store displays of the time. Or perhaps you have heard stories of the famous steam engines running at Coney Island. Fairs, amusement parks, local parks, pumpkin farms, roadside attractions and others have all housed miniature trains at one time. Literally millions of people have had the joy of riding these at one time. But what of today? Do these iron horses still exist to thrill our children of today? Are there place for families to go so that their young children can make their own memories? Yes! These trains are alive and steaming all around the world today! And more are being built or re-built every year! In the California alone, it is estimated that there are at least 45 miniature engines being built. New facilities are opening or are in the planning stages each year. Some railroads, like the Redwood Valley Railway in Tilden Park, Berkeley, California, and the Riverside and Great Northern Railroad in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, have just recently celebrated 50 years of service! Other mile stones include the 10 year anniversary of the Orland, Newville & Pacific Railroad in Orland, California. Various museums have resurrected old trains and brought them back to life for their visitors as well. But it isnt just public attractions. Private individuals are building their own railroad empires right in their own back yard. Some are indeed empires, as the track runs through miles of property. Many are smaller lines that might run around a city lot. All of them provide hours of fun for young and old alike. FAMILY OPPORTUNITIES But what does this all mean for families today? For many, it is a living, breathing education. In one visit you can learn about history of railroading, the science and math behind the locomotives, building and construction, wood working, machining, and more. You can visit with the people who run the railroads, often volunteers , and receive a lesson in community service. Visit the ticket office and gift shops and learn about business. And take a look at the gorgeous locomotives and rolling stock and see pure art! Creative families can find educational value in all aspects of Grand Scale railroading. As an adult, you can be transported back in time to your youth. Revisit your own memories of the whistles and happy families. . . and make new memories with your own family today. Where to Ride? Grand Scale railroads can literally found all around the country. Three of the public railroads are listed above but others include: Griffith Park in Los Angeles, the Little Puffer in the San Francisco Zoo, the Portland Zoo railroad in Portland, Oregon, the Milwaukee Zoo railway, the Whiskey River Railway, Little A-Merrick-A, Marshall, Wisconsin, the Michigan AuSable Valley Railway in Fairview, Michigan, the Detroit Zoo railway, the Traverse City Railway, the Peconic County RR in Long Island, and many, many more private and public RRs. HOW TO LEARN MORE Various publications now exist to help people in their search for Grand Scale railroads. The prominent magazines include the Grand Scales Quarterly and the 7+RAILROADER, both published by Robinson & Associates in Red Bluff, California and Live Steam, published by Village Press in Traverse City, Michigan. The Web has also been a valuable tool for those interested in learning more. Web sites of interest include www.grandscales.com and www.7plusrailroader.com, which have exhaustive links pages. Another great resource is www.discoverlivesteam.com, www.livesteaming.com and www.steamingpriest.com. All provide a great deal of information. Susan Robinson is the associate editor of both the Grand Scales Quarterly and the 7+RAILROADER magazines. Introduction to the Corporate Entity

By Gerard Simington Many people considering starting their own business here about various business entities, but dont really understand them. Here is an introduction to the corporate entity. Introduction to the Corporate Entity Working for yourself is a great thing. It gives you freedom, time and a sense of pride and accomplishment. While it is undisputed that small businesses form the backbone of our economy, many of these small businesses can lead into trouble. While everyone believes they will be an unmitigated successes, the statistics reveal a majority of businesses will fail within two years. This means protecting yourself from the outset an important step. Incorporating is a way to protect yourself if a business effort fails. Corporations are the oldest form of business entity, which means the laws surrounding them are well-established. In the eyes of the law, a corporation in a legal individual. This results in something known as the corporate shield against liability. If a corporation gets sued for business activities, the parties suing are restricted to recovering against the business. They cannot also name the shareholders. Lets look at a practical example. Microsoft if a publicly traded corporation, to wit, you and I can buy shares on the stock exchange. This effectively means that we are owners of the corporation, although our ownership interest is admittedly small. If Microsoft gets sued, we cannot be named in the lawsuit. If the suing parties win, they cannot recover against us personally, to wit, they cant come for our home or bank account. The only option they have is to go after the bank accounts and assets of Microsoft, the corporation. There are two exceptions where a corporation does not provide a shield against action to its shareholders. If I start a corporation and then pursue criminal activities, I get no protection. This is what happened to the individuals at Enron. Second, a corporation does not provide protection if I misuse it. This occurs when I intermingle my personal finances with it, conduct no real business and so on. This second situation is very hard to prove for a suing party. As to the nuts and bolts of a corporation, the process is fairly simple. The corporation is formed by filing Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary of State for your location. The corporation is guided by something called its bylaws, which essentially state how corporate business will be conducted. The owners of shares in a corporation are known as shareholders. When corporate business is undertaken, a board of directors meets to discuss it and pass resolutions. The board members are elected by the shareholders. When starting a business, it is important that you take steps to protect yourself. A corporation is a solid choice. The Use of Muscle Relaxants for Lower Back Pain

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Janice_Bell] Janice Bell The muscle relaxing properties of “muscle relaxants” arise not from direct activity at the muscular or neuromuscular junction level but rather from an inhibition of more central polysynaptic neuronal (nerve cells that end in synapses) events. These agents have also been shown in some studies to demonstrate superior analgesia to either acetaminophen or aspirin. Muscle relaxants are often prescribed in the treatment of acute low back pain in an attempt to improve the initial limitations in range of motion from muscle spasm and to interrupt the pain-spasm-pain cycle. Limiting the muscle spasm and improving the range of motion will prepare the patient for a therapeutic exercise. Soma is a muscle relaxant used to relieve the pain and stiffness of muscle spasms and discomfort due to strain and sprain. It blocks signals between nerves in the brain and the spinal cord. However, its action is not completely understood— Soma does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles and its action may be related to its sedative properties instead. So for many patients, the reduction of muscle spasm associated with lower back pain brings considerable relief. The outcome is favorable such as pain is being reduced, the body relaxes and their ability function normally is enhanced. Soma comes in a 350 mg round white tablet. Its onset of action is rapid, and its effects last for 4-6 hours. The usual dose for one 350 mg tablet is 3 times a day. It is also important to be aware of the side effects of Soma; moreover, this is to ensure about safety and to avoid any adverse reactions. Soma is a sedative and it can cause: drowsiness, dizziness, vertigo, agitation, irritability, headache and insomnia. Occasional allergic reactions are known to occur, including a skin rash and itching. Like all medications, there can be rare idiosyncratic reactions as well. A word of precaution—avoid taking Soma when drinking alcohol for it will increase the sedative effect of the medication, when driving or operating machinery. Lower back pain tends to resolve on its own. Most patients feel significantly better one week after the first onset of pain. About 4-6 weeks, the pain will be completely resolved. As this drug is proven to be beneficial, many patients now prefer to order this medication from the online pharmacies. An Obstacle Course for a Child Physical Activity

By Nancy Johnson Setting up an obstacle course is a wonderful child physical activity. Children get lots of exercise while having fun. An obstacle course can be set up with items you may already have. Usually an obstacle course is set up outdoors, but can be a wonderful indoor activity when the weather is bad. To set up an obstacle course, think of terms such as jump, hop, crawl under, climb over, walk along, go right or go left. A child physical activity includes practicing gross motor skills, balance and coordination. Plan out the course by listing the skills you want the children to practice. Eight to ten stations is a good number for school age children. Use a ladder flat on the ground to run through Crawl under a table or broom hung between 2 chairs Hop through hula hoops set on the ground Step over an obstacle such as yardstick between 2 chairs at knee height Walk across balance beam (4×4 board) Weave in and out of poles made with PVC pipe inserted in sand buckets Squeeze through 2 objects placed close so child walks sideways Throw ball into wastebasket Carry an object on a spoon (water balloon outdoors, small ball indoors) Jump or skip 5 times with jump rope Bounce or dribble ball to next station (at least 5 times) You can adjust this child physical activity to fit the ages, abilities and number of children in your group. Make the obstacle course simple at first and gradually increase the difficulty of each station. If you want, time the kids to see how fast they can complete the course. Record their individual times and see if they can practice to improve their own times. Make certificates of accomplishment and completion of this child physical activity; the obstacle course.
